Sarah Pou is a full-time artist working from her studio on the Kapiti Coast, Wellington. Whilst living in England for ten years she developed a love of historic architecture juxtaposed amongst modern scenes. With a passion for colour she combines with everyday street scenes to create unique, highly detailed, colourful and bold artworks. Often her artworks mix iconic figures from her childhood in a effort to ‘lift places up’ and celebrate the memory of a different time.

Mainly working with watercolour, ink and acrylic paint on watercolour paper she also enjoys painting with Acrylics on canvas. Sarah is represented by a host of Wellington and National Galleries and her work is held by overseas collectors.
