Each building represents an individual, their height alludes to their importance. They are all tall, so they are all important. The vibrant colours reflect their individuality. The individuals are held close with powerlines, representing connection. In this painting three sets of ‘family’s’ or ‘communities’ are shown with powerlines weaving between them. The thought behind these paintings are, if one from the ‘group’ is removed they would be missed. The group would not be whole/balanced. As, although the colours are vibrant, their colours are echoed and balanced throughout. If one were missing, they would not be complete.
