296-306 Tinakori Road are wonderful examples of late Victorian domestic Architecture. Designed to suit the narrow strips of land and the steep ground they were built on. The buildings have now become part of the Thorndon “tourist trail’.

The houses were built between 1902 & 1903  designed by architect  Robert Roy Macgregor.

The beautiful repetition of scale and form contribute to the unity and cohesion of the streetscape and helped make them treasured icons of the area.

This original artwork has been framed with Uv glass and the finished frame size is 64 × 90cm approx
