‘Ashleigh Court’ is currently being displayed at ‘Kiwi Art House Gallery’ 225 Cuba St, Wellington CBD.
Ashleigh Court was constructed between 1906 & 1907 by architects Hawthorn and Crump.
Located between 112 - 122 Riddiford Street in Newtown, Wellington. It is a beautiful example of a mixed use Edwardian hotel/commercial building.
The intricate ornamentation and striking wedge shape has made it an icon of the area.
This building contributes to the Newtown Central Heritage Area.
The artwork was completed using Watercolour, Ink and Acrylic paint on 300 gsm Watercolour paper.
The artwork has been framed with UV glass in a white frame with white mat board.
Finished frame size is : 56 × 73 cm approx.
