'Cuba Street' Central Wellington
A fun and colourful detailed painting of Cuba Street, Wellington, New Zealand. The image depicts ‘The Beatles’ casually walking across the famous Cuba Street Rainbow Crossing. An added detail that you may not notice straight away is the beige VW Beatle in the background, which is copy of the same car in the Beatles ‘Abbey Road’ album, with the same number plate number.
The Beatles visited Wellington on the 21st June 1964 and may very well have walked in the same spot.
